Teams listed first wear dark caps and are listed as home on the scoreboard. Quarters are 6 minutes long with 2 minutes between quarters and 5 minutes between halves. Games tied after regulation will be decided by two 3 minute overtime periods. Games still tied after the second overtime period will be decided by one sudden death overtime period with a coin toss determining who defends shallow and deep ends. Teams are permitted three timeouts of two minutes each during regulation. Teams are allowed one timeout during overtime. Regulation timeouts will not carry over into overtime.
             

This tournament will follow Pennsylvania High School Water Polo rules, which are NCAA rules.

Teams should be ready to play at the start time. A shallow warmup pool is available for passing before games. Teams may also warmup in the competition pool between quarters and before their game as time permits.

McDowell pool is a 6 lane, 25 yard, shallow deep facility (13 feet – 3.5 feet) with Colorado Scoreboard timing and shot clocks.
